Peter Lizano from Music Tour Reviews has put up a great review of Avenged Sevenfold’s set at Rockfest 2011 along with some photos.
With a full blown stage setup, A7X did not skimp on bringing the full show to Rockfest. As the lights dimmed and the opening notes to Nightmare came on, from the self titled album, “Nightmare,” explosion went off, shaking people as M.Shadows came out throwing his fist in the air. This got the crowd into it after sitting out in the sweltering heat and humidity all day and also gave them a much needed second wind.
